Captain Pandjab Kings (PBKS) Shreyas Iyer saw how in Shashank Singh after his match winning against the Bombai Indians (Mi) in the 2 Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Iyer played a breathtaking knocking 87* (41), smashed five and eight six and led his team home by chasing 204 in 19 overs.
After their remarkable victory five goal PBKS qualified for the final of the tournament. Despite their clinical victory, however, Iyer saw Singh in Shashank Singh as players shook their hands after the game. In a viral video, Shashank can be seen as towards Iyer. However, the PBKS captain turned to him and a few words in anger.
Watch the video here:
Shreyas’s angry reaction confused by fans when they were wondering what could be the reason for his angry explosion. During the persecution of PBKS, SHASHANK got in 17th place 2 (3) because they demanded 35 runs to win from 20 balls. Direct intervention from Hardika Pandya in mid-off cut shashank’s Innings short.
Replays, however, showed that the dough is running reluctantly to complete the single, and increase its speed as soon as Pandy saw a quick ball, but it was too late for SHASHANK when he was found before his fold.
His poor run had to be the reason for Iyer’s angry reactions, because it gave me an opening in a game with one over Jasprit Bumrah still in the bank. Captain Iyer therefore rebuked him during his lethargic run.
Meantime, PBKS became the first team to successfully persecuted 200 plus scores against the Indians in Mumbai in IPL history. The historical act helped them qualify for the IPL final only for the second time in their history, with their last performance in 2014, where they lost against Kalkata Knight (KKR).
PBKS will take over the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Summit Clash, which will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
