The US Air Force General Dan Caine on Thursday, June 26), rejected the speculation that he was under President Donald Trump or Defense Minister Pete Hegset to change his assessment of recent US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
“No, no, no. And no, no, no,” Caine said during Briefing Pentagon Press.
He repeated his role as an impartial military advisor and said, “My task as chairman is to offer a number of possibilities to the President and the national command to give the risks associated with each of them, and then I adopted the National Command orders, and I never fulfilled that.”
Fordow to hit years of manufacture
Caine’s comments came together with the new revelations of American operations focused on the Iranian nuclear facility Fordow, which he described as the result of “15 years of incredible work”.
The strike, part of the Midnight Hammer operation, has been designed to destroy the heavily fortified place of enrichment underground by focusing on its key ventilation shaft.
“All six weapons each time in Fordow went exactly where they were supposed to go,” Caine said.
Anticipation of Iranian defense
Caine confirmed that Iran tried to block the shafts with strong concrete closures, probably in anticipation of the American strike.
“I will not share specific dimensions of the concrete closure, but you should know that we know what the dimensions of these concrete caps were,” he said.
The first wave of bombs broke the cap, allowing the subsequent ammunition to penetrate the main shaft.
“Weapons two, three, four and five were commissioned to enter the main shaft, moved down to the complex by more than 1,000 feet per second, and exploded in the mission space.”
The sixth “Flex weapon” was in standby mode to ensure the success of the mission if any previous strike failed.
Planning of 15 years
Caine said that planning began in 2009, when an official of the Defense threat agency was informed of the satellite and classified Intel, which shows a suspicious construction in the Iranian mountains.
“This officer and his teammate lived and exhaled this single goal – Fordiow,” he said. “They monitored construction, weather, elimination of material, geology and building materials.”
The weapons were adapted to neutralize the functions of the device.
“Weapons have been planned, designed and delivered to ensure that they have achieved effects in the mission space.”
Asked about “extermination”: “We don’t have our own homework”
Caine was asked whether he agreed to the Minister of Defense Pete HegSeth, earlier characterization of the place as “smoothed”. This term refused.
“We are not doing (evaluating battle damage),” he said. “I will refer to the news community.”

Furthermore, Caine reiterated: “We do not have the evaluation of our own homework.”
Instead, he shared a field message: “The market nozzles saw the first weapons exploded and the pilots said,” That was the brightest explosion I’ve ever seen. It literally looked like daylight. “
HegSeth advocates a “smoothed” statement, criticizes the media
Minister of Defense Pete HegSeth entered and criticized the “irresponsible report on the basis of leaks”.
“Caine doesn’t do politics,” he said. “That’s my stripe. So I can use the word” smoothed. “He could use” defeat “,” destroyed “,” assess “” all these things “.
Caine again postponed at the news agency: “IC should be able to help you answer this question … they look at various things. I’m not doing that.”
