
Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL) released a flood warning in areas downstream near Dandeli in the Uttara Kannada district and along the Kali River Basin, which is part of the Phase 1 of the Kali River.
“Due to the tireless collision in the SUP dam, there was a substantial increase in water inflow into the reservoir, which led to a rapid increase in water levels. As a result, the public lives in the subsequent areas of the dam and along the river basin on Thursday.
The company also recommended against navigation, fishing and other activities in the river downstream from the SUD dam to the end of the monsoon season.
“The maximum level of the SUP is 564 meters, with a total storage capacity of 147.55 TMC (thousands of millions of cubic tracks). Currently, the water level is 550.75 meters, with 96.245 TMC TMC with the square.
