“Not an act of protest”
Meanwhile, the opposition leader in West Bengal and the leader of the BJP Suvend Adhikari condemned the recent violence in Murshidabad, especially vandalism in Jalangi Bdo.
Adhikari, who concerned the Social Media X, said that the protest was a “anticipated violent act” and “attack on democracy and administration” by jihadist forces.
“I am deeply outraged and vehemently condemned the cruel incident of vandalism in the Jalangi BDO office in the Murshidabad district, performed by radical elements as protesting against the WAQF law.”
“Let it be known that it was not a protest, rather a predicted violent act, an attack on democracy and the management of jihadist forces that seek to spread chaos to pursue their dominance and fear among other communities of our society,” he added.
The leader of the BJP, who further arrived Jibe on CM Mamata Banerjee, criticized the government of West Bengal for their silence and inactivity and questioned whether the policy was a priority from the security of people and the institution of West Bengal.
“The silence of the Mamata Banerjee is deafening. Why does it allow, stimulate and tolerate such injustice? Why is there a clear statement by the state government that condemns this terrorist act? Added adhikari.
He demanded that the culprits be identified, arrested and prosecuted according to strict laws to restore order.
“Hinds are forced to flee”
The Minister of the Union Giriraj Singh attacked the main Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on Saturday and said that the Hindes were “forced” to escape from the state.
“Hind’s security is the responsibility of Mamata Banerjee along with Muslims. Murshidabad violence shows that the Hindes are forced to escape from West Bengal … It is unfortunate that this is happening before the state government,” Singh told reporters in Begusarai.
“Transfer Case to NIA”
On Saturday, Svenda ADHIKARI asked the Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw to convert an investigation into the recent incidents of vandalism at railway stations in the Murshidabad district to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
In his letter, Adhikari stated that violent “protests” and potential for such incidents to escalate had wider implications because Murshidabad shared its borders with Bangladesh and the presence of radical outfits such as the population front of India (PFI).
