
Almost 20 people were injured when a stray dog bite in Pothecode on Wednesday.
The NGOs involved in the Pothencode Gram Panchayat for the thickness of the sterilization activity captured the stray dog on Thursday afternoon.
President Panchayat TR Anil Kumar told Hindu that the dog bit people along Pothecode Junction-Poolanthara for two hours from 19:00.
Injured persons, including nine migrating workers, were looking for treatment in Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital. Most of them suffered minor injuries on the leg.
“The staff at the compassion of the Association of Animal Care, a non -governmental organization that performs sterilization activities for Panchayat, caught a dog around noon. The dog did not show any external grades that it would be hit on Friday,” he said on Friday.
