
The Kerala government has increased the wages of workers working in tourist destinations under the Clean Destination scheme to ₹500 per day. This decision will benefit around 645 workers selected from the pool of volunteers from Kudumbashree and engaged by the District Tourism Promotion Councils (DTPC) at destinations across the state. Earlier, the government had increased their wages from ₹350 to ₹450 per day, according to a statement here on Monday.
