Radhakrishhnan, Vice -President and chairman of Rajya Sabha CP, will organize their first meeting with the leaders of different parties in the parliament complex on Tuesday (October 7, 2025).
The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to exchange views on how to make the smooth functioning of the house and structured discussions without disturbing – thus optimizing the time and quality of the debates, his office said in a statement.
This will be the first meeting of Vice President with the leaders of the parties after taking over the accusation as President Rajya Sabha, he said.
“Chairman of Rajya Sabha CP Radhakrishnan will organize a meeting with the leaders of all parties in Rajya Sabha on 7 October 2025 at 16:00,” the statement said.
The meeting will be at the meeting, the Minister of Health and the leader of the JP Nadda house, the leader of the opposition Malikarjun Khagee and the Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
In addition, the Master’s meeting called Radhakrishnan was also invited by the Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal and the State Minister for Information and Broadcast L Murugan.
Based on the statement, the former Prime Minister and member of Rajya Sabha HD Devegowda was also invited.
“This is the first meeting with the leaders of the parties after Shri Radhakrishnan has taken over the accusations as President Rajya Sabha, will provide the opportunity to exchange opinions on the smooth functioning of the house and to strengthen parliamentary negotiations.”
“The aim of the meeting is to discuss and decide how to facilitate smooth and structured discussions and also look for proposals for leaders to ensure smooth management management, without disruption and maximum discussion – thus optimizing the time and quality of the debates,” the statement said.
