When Tuesday (August 12, 2025) ended the deadline for revision of election roles for local public opinion surveys, the State Election Commission (SEC) received just over 29.81 Lakh requests for the inclusion of names.
Overall, the Commission, headed by A. Shajahan, received 35.98 Lakh. These were 29.81,310 forms of 4 applications for included names, 13,859 forms 6 for repairs and 1,80,793 forms of 7 applications for transposition (transfer of voters to another department).
When publishing the election roles 23. The Commission later expanded it to 12 August.
The Commission is designed to publish the final election role 30 August.
