
On Monday (September 29, 2025), more than 2,200 applications were submitted for election roles after the State Election Commission launched a revision of the role before the local authorities of 2025.
Until 16:00, 2,285 applications were submitted for the list of names and 83 applications, the Commission said. Up to 266 applications for transposition (transfer of voters from one department to another) and 69 were submitted for deletions.
The latest roles published on 2 September were published as a proposal for the last revision, which began on Monday, September 29). This list has a total of 2,83,12,458 voters, of which 1,49,59,235 women, 1,33,52 947 men and 276 transgender voters.
The proposal is accessible on the website of the Sec.kerala.gov.in Commission, local authorities and villages and taluk. New names can be added to the list until October 14. Those who reached 18 years of age at the age of January 1, 2025 are eligible to write their names. The final list will be published on October 25.
