Retired army officials on Monday urged Vizianagaram District Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy to delist their land in Garjularega village, which would allow them to build houses on government-allocated land.
Vizianagaram District Army Welfare Officers Association President Devara Eswara Rao and Secretary Barukula Venkata Rao submitted a detailed memorandum to Mr. Reddy in the grievance cell to delist their 15 acres of land from the 22/A prohibition list, saying that the association had already spent funds to level the land.
