
EFFTRONICS SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED CEO D. Ramakrishn on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) emphasized the importance of indigenous products and application design to reduce imports.
At a press conference before the National Semiconductor Symposium 2025, which will be held from 11 to 13 September 2025, at Vit-AP University in Amaravati, he emphasized the need for extensive efforts in semiconductor innovation to create a highly valuable job in India and drive the nation to the vision of Viksit. “Like Prahlada, Hari said he was everywhere, today the semiconductor chips are everywhere, in fact, their deployment around the world is already 40 times more than the human population,” he stressed.
The symposium is organized together by the University of Vit-AP University, EFFTRONICS SYSTEMS PVT. Ltd., the confederation of Indian industry (CII) – Andhra Pradesh and the IT Association Andhra Pradesh (IITAAP).
Vice Chancellor, Vit-AP University of SV Kota Reddy emphasized the need for a symposium in the current context. He explained how a three -day event would provide a much needed exhibition to the faculty, students, research scientists and experts in the field through a number of key lectures, technical sessions and practical workshops. He stressed that India must speed up the development of skills in the design of semiconductor applications and chip design to meet the requirements of the future.
Vice -President, CII Andhra Pradesh, Narendra Kumar, said that CII Andhra Pradesh has always been in the forefront of the initiative to speed up the development of abilities in India.
President IAAP A. Indravet said that such forums would create awareness of discovering opportunities and helped the parties to understand future prospects and instructions.
Together they urged the Faculty of Academic, students and local industrialists to actively participate in the symposium and take advantage of this unique opportunity to involve national and global experts on semiconductor technology.
