Authorities at the Medical College Hospital (MCH), Kozhikode, temporarily withdrawing a fee for 50 GBP deposited visitors.
The fee was recovered in the direction of the Ministry of Health and family care to limit the number of visitors to the facility with regard to the increase in Covid cases. This led to protests of various organizations. Indian Democratic Youth Federation of India warned against agitation unless the fee was canceled. He learns that the Society for the Development of Hospitals will meet on June 17th to accept the last call for this matter. The department previously recommended healthcare institutions to limit the number of carers and visitors. Patients and carers must wear facial masks.
