
The Minister for Cooperation of HV Vasavan on Friday launched the Vish-Easter markets, which opened the state cooperative consumer federation of Kerala. Mr. Vasavan, who dealt with inauguration at state level on the statue of Thiruvananthapurama, called on the public to use the markets where products are sold with discounts ranging from 10% to 35%. The consumer opens the Vishu-Easter markets, which will remain open until April 21 at 170 locations in Kerala. In these markets, products for the market are also available by various cooperatives. Mr. Vasavan said the government was able to reduce the price increase through an effective market intervention during the festival periods. 170 VISHU-Easter markets were opened in 14 district centers and 156 Triveni supermarkets.
