Visakhapatnam will host the AP Chambers Business Expo from September 11

District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore said development of all sectors should remain the focus of Visakhapatnam’s growth and said small and medium enterprises should be encouraged to boost the economy of the region.

At a meeting organized by the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (AP Chambers) at a hotel on Old Jail Road on Saturday (July 25, 2026), he released a brochure for the AP Chambers Business Expo scheduled for September 11-13.

The Collector said that the exhibition, which was organized for the first time in Visakhapatnam with a focus on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises, was a commendable endeavour. He described the city as a hub of opportunity and employment and called on all stakeholders to contribute to its development.

Mr. Kishore said that Andhra Pradesh attracts 25% of the investments coming into the country and that a significant share flows into the erstwhile Visakhapatnam district. He added that the government is paying special attention to the Visakhapatnam Economic Zone and the Bay City concept. AP Chambers Visakhapatnam Zone Chairman P. Sobhan Prakash and State Secretary R. Subba Rao also spoke.
