He brought up his half-century in just 32 balls before brilliantly switching gears in the second half of the chase. Kohli enjoyed a bit of luck when Rovman Powell dropped him for 21, but KKR had to pay dearly for the missed opportunity. The former RCB skipper put together a crucial 92-run partnership with Devdutt Padikkal, who contributed a fluent 39, which ensured Bengaluru remained firmly in control of the chase. Jitesh Sharma eventually sealed the victory with a boundary as RCB chased down the target with five balls to spare.
