(Download Video) NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru bid an emotional farewell to one of their longest-serving members as former chief physio Evan Speechly’s 18-year association with the franchise came to an end, marking the end of a significant chapter in the team’s journey.Speechly, who served RCB from 2008 to 2025, returned to Bengaluru for a special farewell organized by the franchise. The event brought players and support staff together and offered a rare moment to celebrate the contribution of a personality who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes across multiple eras of the team.

“Evan has been our lead physio for a long time. We wanted to bring him back to recognize his contribution, spend some time with him and celebrate all he has done for RCB,” Bobat said.Clearly moved by the gesture, Speechly expressed his gratitude and reflected on his deep connection to the franchise. “When I walked into the hotel yesterday, I felt like I was coming home. So many of us have been here for a long time and RCB has always felt like a family,” he said.“Everybody in world cricket would like to spend even one season here, I was lucky enough to have 18. I will always feel a part of RCB,” he added.
