Sanjay Manjrekar feels that there is no need to panic about the Indian test team after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have recently announced their departure from the longest format of the game. Kohli and Rohit who were two pillars of the Indian test team, announced their decision to retreat from the format Just before England Tour.
This left two large holes in the Indian barbling order, one of the openers and no. 4 is unoccupied. Manjrekar, when he spoke in his video on his Instagram account, said he would feel panic at the moment, but pointed out how India was reflected from retirement of the famous Fab 4 of the Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Souvar gangules retired.
The former cricket pointed out that India became team 1 in the tests after retirement Fab 4 and feels that if the talent comes, the party will be in a good place.
“I know a few fans will be affected. When Fab 4 ended at once, there was a panic feeling, but guess what? A few years later, India was the number one test team.”
“So, if I believe it very strongly, if sport in India is popular and there are enough young players, youth, desperately playing in India, and there are thousands in India, which means anyone who goes through such a kind of grind must be of good talent,” Manjrekar said.
“India will continue to be one of the best teams in the world”
Manjrekar continued and said that the team would discover new stars and pitching and will continue to be one of the best teams in the world. However, Manjrekar said that time would be needed with the coming and upcoming side, because the launching in overseas conditions has been a problem for a long time.
The former cricket also said that the new team would have nothing to lose.
“So yes, it will take some time, but we don’t remember what happened after Fab 4, Indian Bowling quality has improved. The same could happen here
“But guess what? Is there another way to look at this current Indian team where Rohit and Virat Kohli were part of the Indian team. India lost 3-0 at home against New Zealand and lost badly, badly in Australia. So guess what?
