Former Indian goalkeeper Syed Kirmani suggested that retirement for Virt Kohli from the test cricket could be caused by the requirements for playing excessive cricket. On May 12, 36 -year -old Kohli announced his retirement from the longest format and ended almost 14 -year test career, which lasted from 2011 to 2025.

“Questions, such as the reason why he is retiring, or whether he is out of form or under pressure, they make no sense. It is an individual player’s decision,” Kirmani said.
