Virat Kohli announced his retirement from the test cricket on Monday, just before the Indian test series of five matches in England. The decision came after a lukewarm performance in the border-Gavascar trophy 2024–25, where despite the score in the second exchange in Perth, Kohli appeared largely outside the form.
