Usain Bolt said that Virt Kohli would be one of his relay -dream team members that had formed with crickets. Bolt is currently on a tour in India, where he has engaged in many activities. He is known to be a keen fans of cricketBolt said he started as a cricket and then switched to sprinting.
During today’s talked to India, the eight -time Olympic medalist was asked to create his team of dream relay and he continued to select the Indian star. Bolt said Kohli is quite fast on the pitch and can get into his relay team. The sprinting legend also added Brett Lee and Jonta Rhodes to her team.
“We talked about it. I think Kohli is definitely fast. I know Brett Lee and I would say Jonty Rhodes,” Bolt said.
Bolt said he was his cricket coach who actually got him into sprinting. Bolt said his cricket coach at that time saw him running and asked him to try to watch and field instead.
“Well, it was my cricket coach for me. I was a quick pitch and my cricket coach saw me running and he said,” You know what, why not try to watch and field? “And I tried and I was really good.
“Would be cricket if not for sprinting”
Bolt continued and said he would be a cricket if he did not deal with sprinting. The eight -time Olympic medalist said his father was a fan of sport, and that’s all he knew when he grew up.
“Certainly cricket. Yeah, I think if my cricket coach probably didn’t say, you know what, try to run, I would probably stick to the cricket because my dad was a massive cricket fans, and that’s all I knew.
Bolt named his favorite crickets, with Sachin Tendulkar was one of them.
“Yeah, I grew up and watched many crickets. As I said, the guys I named, just like Jonts Rhodes, were one of the best fields ever to do it. Courtney Walsh, Ambrose, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara.
