In the shocking video from Florida, the US, Uber’s driver was seen as he pulled out a weapon on the passengers and asked them aggressively to “get out”.
A video shared by Miami Krissy Celess, also known as ASS Krissy’s Bomb, shows that she and her friend disagreed with the Uber driver through the instructions, which escalated the aggressive argument.
The incident began with Krissy allegedly told the driver who turned. Rapper, however, soon commented on the driver’s behavior and soon after the situation spiraled into the worst passenger dreams.
In a viral video, the driver can see the call 911 while screaming at Krissy and her friends and said, “Get out of my vehicle. You’re no longer to ride.”
“Get out,” she shouted again.
Krissy then comments on the “crazy eyes” of the driver, which triggered her to pull out the weapon.
Rapper deactivated a viral video comment section. According to NDTV report, however, Krissy and her girlfriend are likely to sue Uber for the incident.
“I would say that the Uber driver was very aggressive and the reaction of pulling the weapon was extremely excessive,” said lawyer Carlos Dominguez, who represents both passengers.
Stressing that “simple disagreements do not require a firearm,” Dominguez said, “You know, emotions can sometimes get out of control because of simple disagreement, but these disagreements do not require a firearm.”
This is how Uber reacted
According to NDTV, Uber responded to the video and said it was “concerning”
“That concerns and we are sorry that it happened,” Uber said.
Uber’s instructions explicitly forbid drivers to carry firearms, and therefore removed the driver from the viral video from its platform.
Uber said he was working with investigating the Hollywood police.
