In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, a woman was seen forcibly attacking the operator of the toll stand, which constantly slapped him about 7 times in 4 seconds, on the Toll Square in Chhijarsi, Hapuru on Sunday morning, India reported. The incident occurred around 8:30 in the morning after the female vehicle was marked as an insufficient balance in Fastag.
According to toll employees came the registration number of the car HR40J6483 from Ghaziabad and inside had two men and two women. When the Fastag scanner reported a low balance, the standing of the stand asked the group to pay the toll fee manually along with the appropriate fine according to government rules.
Instead of following, one of the women in the car went out, entered the booth and began to attack the operator. The CCTV shots show that it will slap it repeatedly, try to strangle it and bang their heads on the table. Both men also reportedly behaved with toll staff.
“The simple requirement to pay tolls has changed into a violent attack. The woman plunged into the stand and mercilessly defeated our employees. This is unacceptable,” said Avnish Singh, employee on tolls.
The police identified the vehicle and started their efforts to follow the participating woman. “The case was submitted under the BNS 115 (2) sections (voluntarily causing injuries) and 351 (criminal intimidation). The vehicle has been identified and efforts to follow a woman,” said Patneesh Yadav, a man from Pilakhua.
This incident ruled fears of the security of toll workers who often face aggression from motorists. In particular, this is not the first such episode to Toll Plaza Chhijarsi. In June 2024, a bulldozer driver, angry to be asked to pay tolls, thrust his vehicle into two stalls and tried to cross toll employees. This video also went viral, which caused outrage, but only a small change in promotion.
The incident continues to trend the social media, with many calling for a stricter action against rage and violence.
