Raj Kushwaha, the main accused of the case of the murder of Raja Raghuvanki, was reportedly seen by people who brought the victims to the funeral of the victim. Another DCP (crime) of Rajesh Dandotiya said that when the last ceremonies of Raja Raghuvansehi were made, Raj Kushwaha was in Indore.
Raj Kushwaha was among four arrested in connection with the murder of Indore entrepreneur Raja Raghuvanki. Raja’s body was found in a deep ravine near the waterfall in the Sohra area in the district of Meghalaya East Khasi Hills 2.
His wife Sonam, who is also charged in the case of murder, was found near Dhaba on the main road Varanasi-Ghazipur 9 June.
Another DCP (crime) of Rajesh Dandotiya said he worked as an accountant in the Sonama RaghuvanShi office.
The person who took part in Rajaho’s funeral told PTI: “When Raja’s body came here, Sonam’s family, whose home is in the Nagar Kharcha region, arranged four five vehicles to attend a funeral.”
“Kushwaha was driving a quad in which I went, even though we didn’t speak. Only after I saw his photo in the media after his arrest, I remembered this episode,” said Lakshman Singh Rathhore, a neighbor of the accused woman, said.
The video also appeared on social media, with one user claiming that the clip showed Raj Kushwaha with Sonam’s father in Raja Raghuvansehi.
Four people were arrested
East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem said on Monday: “The first arrest (in Raja’s murder) was Rajput of Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. The second was Chauhan of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The third was Kushwaha, also from Indore.”
The PTI quoted the police of Meghalay that she said the three were allegedly hired by Sonama, who gave up the Nandganj police station in Ghazipur Uttar Pradesh.
However, Sonam’s father, Devi Singh Raghuvanki, claimed that the name Kushwahy was incorrectly associated with his daughter and threatened to send a legal warning to the police meghalaya.
