The shots seemed to show that a government school teacher lies on the sleeping floor because one student had extended it after one. However, the authorities later explained that the video was misleading.
The District Officer for Elementary Education, Rrakesh Singh, said the teacher actually fell from the chair and the students needed her because she needed immediate medical attention. The investigation confirmed that the children were not instructed so that they could comfort it for comfort, but after the fall tried to help it.
