The Prime Minister Narendra Modi met one of his long -term admirers during a visit to Haryan’s Yamunanagar on Monday,
Rampal Kashyap promised 14 years ago to wear shoes only after the leader Bharatiya Janata (BJP) became prime minister and had to meet him. Modi has been prime minister since 2014.
Modi shared a video on x his meeting with Kashyap. He cursed a new pair of shoes and also helped to put them on.
“At today’s public meeting in Yamunanagar, I met Sri Rampal Kashyap from Kaithal. He took a promise 14 years ago to wear shoes only after I became PM and he met me.

Modi was in Yamuna Nagar to start and lay the cornerstone of various development projects.
Among the projects, the Prime Minister of the foundation stone 800 MW laid a modern thermal energy unit Deenbandhu of the RAM of the thermal power plant in Yamuna Nagar. This unit, widespread to 233 acres, is worth £8,470 Crore, significantly increases Haryan’s energy self -sufficiency and provides a continuous power supply across the state.
