The Minister of Income Krishna Byre Gowda said that the district administration has taken measures to ensure the smooth entry of the devoted Hasanamba temple by strengthening the VIP entry and holders of the Pass during the Hasanamba festival, starting on October 9.
In a press meeting in Bengalur on Monday, Mr. Byre Gowda, who is also the Minister in charge of the Hassan district, said that the number of people visiting the temple is growing annually during the festival. Last year, the temple visited more than 20 dedicated lakhs from different parts of the state and outside. This time the administration expected around 25 lamps.
Given the inconvenience caused by the public last year, the administration decided to remedy the timing of holders of the Pass and VIPs. With the exception of Governor, Chief Minister, Deputy Minister and Judges, each other VIP had to inform the District Administration on the day of the visit and achieve an inspection bungalow (IB), from where the district administration would take them to separate vehicles.
“In recent years, overload has been caused because individual VIP vehicles were allowed to the temple. This time the administration will take them to the temple in designated vehicles and throw them back to IB,” he said.
In addition, up to 1,000 golden passages, printed separately for each day. Those who have passages could only visit the temple between 7:00 and 10:00 and VIPs could visit the temple between 10:30 and 12:30 “We have imposed time restrictions on the holders of the Pass and VIPs to ensure that the public does not wait in the queue.
The public could visit the temple free of charge or by purchasing tickets worth 300 or 1,000 GBP in designated queues. “This time the administration will introduce cultural events during festivals. The event will be set up three phases. One of the phases is for the classical art form, the other for folk art and others exclusively for local talents,” the minister said.
The door of the historic temple is open only during the festival. During this time, they visit the temple of the Lakhs of Human from different parts. The temple door will be opened on October 9. The festival will end on 23 October. The public will not be able to enter the first and last day.
