
The police officer said on Monday that the situation in the violence affected by Murshidabad is gradually returning to normal, with the re -opening of shops and displaced families, about 210 arrests, quoted by PTI.
Jawed Shamim, the next CEO (law and order), said that there was an effort to restore peace and stability in the affected areas.
“The shops have begun to open and people are coming back. So far 19 families have returned to their homes. The Malda and Murshidabad district administrations are closely cooperating to ensure the safe return of those who fled,” he said.
