The official inspection teams represented by the Government to evaluate industrial security measures in high -risk chemical and pharmaceutical factories in the State of June 30 as a result of the Sigachi Industries explosion, found serious violations of 20% of the places visited.
Teams of representatives at the level of the district selected from factories, boilers, industries, laboratory for control of solangan and fire service pollution have identified a total of 440 industries, mainly focused in five districts, namely Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Nalgonda and Rangareddy.
Teams physically checked 185 factories according to the instructions issued by the government and serious violations were reportedly found in 37 factories. Officials from the factory department who shared details said that violations of built -in security standards in reactors and dryers and working conditions in factories. Two sectors were banned from the inspection and the shows were delivered to the remaining director of the factories, Y. Mohan Babu said without getting into the details of the industries and the nature of their violations.
In the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, where 60 factories have been checked so far, the highest number of demonstrations has been issued. After 46 lives were required and eight people disappeared in a devastating explosion in Sigachi Industries, the government issued a detailed order that consists of committees at the level of districts consisting of six officials, with representatives of the main inspectors as Conveners.
According to the orders issued by August August, the district collectors of all 33 districts should perform meetings of sensitization and awareness for assistance with the help of DCIF and all related departments by calling on members of industrial bodies, local industrial authorities and leading high -risk categories of industry leadership.
The checklist for self -proof in the prescribed format was to be sent to all these factories that should be properly filled and submitted within one week.
After submitting the check lists, committees at the district level were to visit all 4,061 identified high -risk categories in the state gradually. During the first phase, all factory factories should be viewed at chemical and pharmaceutical factories. In the second phase, the units of gas waste, oil, colors, formulation and biotechnological factory are to be covered, while thermal power plants, cement, steel and foundries are scheduled for the third phase inspection. In the final phase, all other remaining high -risk devices are to be included. The whole exercise is entrusted with completion in two months.
