Vince McMahon, the 80-year-old billionaire known as the architect of modern sports entertainment, cashed his $300,000 Bentley and hit 115 mph before a violent collision on the freeway last year. Connecticut State Police have now released new dash cam footage that offers an unfiltered look at the former wrestling mogul in the moments after the July 24, 2025, multi-car wreck.
Driving north on Route 15 in Westport, McMahon’s Bentley Continental GT Speed was seen swerving out of traffic at nearly twice the speed limit before rear-ending the BMW and crashing into a wooden guardrail.

“Damn you stupid fool”
The footage reveals a distraught McMahon being confronted by a state trooper as smoke billows from the wrecked luxury car and its airbags hang deflated. When asked why he was traveling at such high speed, McMahon’s response was surprisingly domestic: “I’m trying to visit my granddaughter for her birthday.”
The trooper, who doesn’t look too impressed, can be heard telling the former CEO: “You almost hit 115mph.”
In a moment of intense frustration captured on his own microphone, McMahon can be heard cursing himself: “Damn. Stupid fool.” He later admitted that the high-performance car was “too fast” and claimed he had not driven it for “God knows how long”.
Barbara Doaran, whose BMW was “ejected” 100 yards from the road, described the incident as a “miraculous” survival.
Strangely, the crash happened just hours before news broke of the death of Hulk Hogan, the man who helped McMahon build his global wrestling empire in the 1980s. years.
