
The Villupuram district improved its performance in class 12 last year, reflected in higher ranks secured by students. The district reached the total percentage of the passage of 95.11 and moved it to 18.
The increase of 1.94 percentage points was also reflected in 87 higher secondary schools, of which 35 government and Adi-Dravido social schools providing Centto results, said collector Shiek Abdul Rahman.
Of the 21,581 students who appeared on the trials in the district, 20,526 were passed. The percentage of the girls’ passage is 96.62 (10,675 girls passed), while the boys are 93.53 (9,851 boys).

The Cuddalore district was in 10th place in the results of the class 12 test, which was released on Thursday, with a percentage of 96.06.
According to officials from the Ministry of Education, 29,477 students who appeared at the district exams passed 28 316. Government schools ensured the passage level of 94%.
The Kallakurichi district provided 94.23% of the 16,655 out of 18,311 students who came out.
