
The inhabitants of Ryave and Varambball in Hosanagara Taluk from Shivamogg decided to remove the march from Varambball to Hosanagar on Thursday and urged the administration to solve the problems of mobile networks in the villages.
The villagers will take a march of 10 km on the day and present the Memorandum officers. In the second phase of the protest, villagers planned to march with a member of Lok Sabha from Raghanendry’s residence in Shivamogg.
Melanur Srinivas, the president of the Committee for Combat Networks, said the villages of villages have demanded a better mobile connection over the last eight years. The elected representatives promised to solve the problem many times. “Many people working in private companies work from home. They need better connectivity. Officers and elected representatives did not answer their problems. Similarly, this problem is also facing,” he said.
Vinayak Prabhu Varambiali, Secretary of the Committee, said the villagers wrote letters to all authorities concerned, including the Prime Minister. “We will protest, looking for better network connectivity and strengthen our protest until our demand is met,” he said.
