The Ministry of Education of the Union has launched Viksit Bharat Builathon 2025 in cooperation with the Atal and Niti Aayog innovation mission for students. This innovation initiative is open to students from class 6 to 12 years.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Education, students will work around four topics this year:
- Atmanirbhar Bharat-Building Separate Systems and Solutions
2. Swadeshi – Support of indigenous ideas and innovation
3. Vocal for local – promotion of local products, crafts and resources
4. Samriddhi – creating paths to prosperity and sustainable growth
The key features of the Builtoron
1. Students will innovate together on what will be reflected as the largest innovative Acitivity in the world.
2. Students will also be able to gain practical experience in accordance with national educational policy, 2020.
3. The event will be an inclusive matter, with a special focus will be devoted to the tribal and remote regions and the Indian aspiration districts.
Registration, submission and timeline of events
1. The registrations were opened on 23 September and will continue until October 6, 2025.
2 October 6 to 12 October was assigned to students for preparatory activities.
3. Nationwide Living Builathon will take place across Indian schools 13 October.
4. Schools submit contributions from 13 to 31 October to the Ministry of Education.
5. November will be time to evaluate items,
6. List of the best winners will be announced in December.
How to log in
Students who want to participate must apply online through their schools. The registration process started on 23 September and will remain open until October 6. There are no costs.
Schools must create teams of students where there should be five to seven members. They must present their ideas or protection protection in the form of photos or videos. All teams participating in this event will receive digital participation certificates from the Ministry of Education.
Eligibility criteria
The Ministry for Single Participation shall determine some eligibility criteria:
1. Each team should have five to seven members
2. There may be more than one team from a particular school.
3. Teachers will serve as menoers and will have students during this period.
4. Items must be in the form of conceptual work, work models or prototypes.
The national panel of experts will evaluate records with regard to factors such as feasibility, innovation and social impact.
