Transport stopped in several parts of Tiruchi, because Tamilaga vettr kazhagam (TVK) founder and rally actor Vijay drew thousands of people on Saturday.
Mr. Vijay, who arrived in Tiruch at 9.29 hours, got out of the airport to 9.40 hours despite the barricades, a large number of people gave the airport complex to greet it.
Huge crowds slowed his cavalry, which lasted almost two and a half hours to cover 5 km to reach TVS Tollgate until noon. Even after four hours, Mr. Vijay has not yet completed the 8 km section to Marakkadai, where he addressed the public.
Toprot was reported on the route, while fans and cadres were struggling because of the lack of drinking water, as most of the shops remained closed. Vijay’s route included Pudukottai Road, TVS Tollgate, Main Post and Palakkarai overpass before Marakkadai.
However, he was granted permission to solve the assembly between 10.35 in the morning and 11.05 in the morning, however, caused the delay to schedule the schedule.
Mr. Vijay started his address around 14:55 and spoke for about 20 minutes before he continued to Ariyaluru. The Tiruchi police said about 650 employees were deployed to manage the crowd.
While Mr. Vijay attracted a large number of enthusiastic supporters, it caused a disruption of the routine of everyday workers along the route.
Daily wage workers hit
P. Parvathy, 60, who is working on the Gandhi market, said she couldn’t get to her workplace because of a crowd near TVS Tollgate. “I usually set out on this journey to get to the market, but today the road was stuck with people. I had no choice but to return home,” she said.
R. Thambi, a daily wage worker living near the railway junction Tiruchi, said he lost his daily earnings because the buses were diverted and the crowd blocked other approaches. “I usually earn £ 800 a day. Today, with buses on the Gandhi market and Palakkarai redirected, and even my own vehicle I had to give up and return home,” he said.
