
Vijay Deverakonda is on legal hotseat and was reserved under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocity) law, a month after he allegedly made offensive notes that damage the sentiment of the tribal community.
The complaint was filed by Nenath Ashok Kumar Naik, the State President of the Common Action Committee of the Regulation. He accused Deverakond of offensive comments during a preliminary event for his upcoming Retro film.
Last month another person also filed a case against the actor the same comments. The petitioner claimed that Vijay Deverakonda noted in his speech on the terrorist attack of Pahalgam that attacks were similar to stems between the tribal communities hundreds of years ago.
What did Vijay Deverakond say?
During the “retro” event last month Vijay Deverakonda said: “The solution to what is happening in Kashmir is also educating them (terrorists) and ensure that they are not brain.
He also said that neighboring countries are trying to provide their citizens with basic needs.

When Vijay Deverakonda issued a public apology
Vijay’s comments attracted massive outrage, which made the actor publish a public apology.
Vijay issued a public apology and said his comments had never been intended to offend or target any community. “There was absolutely no intention to hurt or target any community, especially our planned tribes, which I deeply respect and consider an integral part of our country,” he wrote.
