The employees of the Forest Department intensified the vigil in the area of reserve forest areas of the Boath Forest Division in the Adilabad district to follow the movement of the Tiger, which was seen three days ago near the village in forest edges.
The cattle from the village of Raghunathpur claimed that in the area of the reserve forest he had seen a subordinate male tiger less than 12 km from the interstate border with Maharahtra 20 June.
Subsequently, the image of the tiger was captured by the camera traps in the Boath Forest Division division, which forced forest officials to intensify the vigil to watch the movement of a big cat, the sources said.
The Tiger allegedly moved to Telangana from Tiengana Wildlife Sanctuary in the neighboring Mahari, and on Friday (20 June 2025) he killed the cow at the forest edge of Boath Mandala.
Employees of the forest department mounted vigilia and started raising the awareness of standard operational procedures (SOPs) in forest areas that straddled between the district between Adilabad and Nirmal to prevent the conflicts of human tigers.
