The former leaders of the Indian Federation of Democratic Youth (Dyfi) and the Indian Federation of Students (SFI) welcomed the assembly, while the district secretary of SFI Bandi Veeraswama chaired the ending. The lead of the state of SFI ch. Vinod said that Yatra, which took place from August 28 to September 4, focused on students’ questions, including inconvenience of reimbursement of fees and other unfulfilled promises made during the elections.
Yatra also visited the village where poor students were rejected by basic education in the framework of new national educational policy. High clutter fees, insufficient infrastructure and insufficient staff have inserted the hostel in the crisis. “If this trend continues, hostels can close within five years. It is surprising that the Minister of Education, who promised to pay postgraduate students after the office, was silent,” Vinod said. He added: “Although the Union government identified Prakasam as a backward district, the authorities remain sloppy in the development of the educational sector.” On Saturday, September 6, he called on students to participate in the program “Khalo Vijayawad”.
