Vice -President Jagdeep Dhankhar urged the youth to take over the role of warriors for environmental protection and seek environmental protection through the creation of awareness, defense and activism.
The country is the only habitat of human beings and animals and its natural wealth. All our students should become warriors in the protection and development of the country, he said.
He spoke in a special interaction with members of the faculty and students at the College of Forestry in Sirsi from Uttara Kannada. He presented a special lecture on this topic, the role of forest science in the building of nations.
“There is an urgent need for sustainable development. The nation’s youth should be aware of the effects of nature destruction and strive to prevent and inform about it,” he said.
“India has seen high economic growth in the last decade. The eyes of the world are on us for this growth. Do not forget that our country’s youth has the potential to change the image of the world,” he said.
The Vice -President announced that he would take an interaction with students in Parliament in Nový Delhí.
“Nature has given us everything, but we should not abuse it. We have to use it slightly according to our needs and save the environment for the next generation. Nature belongs not only to human beings, but also to all living beings, including animals, birds, trees and plants,” he said.
“Today’s young generation should be aware of this truth and create awareness among the upcoming generations. In our country, the Vedic era in this country has become hand. India is culturally rich. The importance of environmental protection has been emphasized since ancient times,” he said.
Said “our ancestors managed the art of life with the environment.”
“Instead of destruction of the environment and carrying out development activities, there is an urgent need to maintain harmony with nature.” Western Ghats is a place with the richest biodiversity in the world. In such an environment, students can learn in a wide area rather than studying between the wall, ”he said.
“The forests are like the lungs of the Earth. We can only breathe if they are healthy. We all face the dangers of global warming.
“Simply planting of seedlings is not forest protection. Of course, planting seedlings is necessary to survive herbal life, survival of living beings, air and water. Air and water are essential for a healthy life of human beings. For this reason, our ancestors worshiped water and air.

The Vice -President planted the Ashoka tree on behalf of her mother Kesari Devi, his wife planted the Ashoka tree named her mother Bhagwati Devi and Mr. Thaawwarchand Gehlot planted the Ashoka tree in the name of his mother Suman Bai in university conditions.
