Archives Tamil Nadu and historical research was nominated by Vice -Presidents and five members to the Historical Research Council of Tamil Nadu. The Council will be headed by the Vice -President and includes five important scientists.
The vice -chairman will be the Commissioner of Archives Tamil Nadu and historical research. Other members are – R. Balakrishnan, a prominent scholar, research worker in archeology; S. Jayaselan Stephen, prominent scientists and researcher in colonial history; Ka manicure, prominent scholar and research worker in freedom; B. Kolppan, journalist (head of the editor, Hindu) and an enthusiast of history; and AR Venkatchalapathy, professor at Madras Institute of Development Studies.
