: General Secretary of KC Venugopal All-India (AIC) (April 12, 2025) criticized Governor Keraly Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar for his statement that against the recent order of the Supreme Court, which sets a timeframe to act under the laws cleaned by state gatherings.
The opening of the new office of the Kozhikode District Congress Committee (DCC), named after the former main Minister K. Karunakaran, said Mr. Alequar’s notes were an insult to democracy. Mr. Venugopal claimed that some governors tried to “control elected state governments via backdoor” for the center. It was a government led by Narendra Modi-Mored, which created a political situation that led the top court to express such an order. “Why is the governor Kerala trying to justify such acts? Perhaps he is afraid to make his agenda with regard to the Supreme Court judgment,” Congress’s leader said.
