Former Captain Australia Steve Waugh was left in respect of the 14 -year -old feeling of Rajasthan Royal Vaibhav SuryavANSHi, who explained the IPL 2025 fearless stroke and amazing maturity. But even though he appreciated the young man’s brilliance, Waugh urged fans and scientists not to rush to compare with the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Waugh, however, quickly eased expectations when he asked about comparison with Tendulkar, remembered the iconic hundreds of Indian icons in Perth in 1992 as a show of a rare genius. He stressed that while SuryavANSHi’s successes were extraordinary, Tendulkar’s early success got for much harder conditions and prepared the ground for a career unrivaled in its longevity and consistency.
“I don’t think you can compare someone with Sachin Tendulkar. I think the 16 -year -old (eighteen -year -old) comes to Australia and scored a century in Perth, the most difficult (The) of the world cricker, where most players are really trying to play on the pitch,” he added.
“… for him to score a century like a teenager in Perth, he was a strange performance. It is very rare that Sachin Tendulkar will come.
The similarity in their early exploitation is striking – both teenagers who turned their heads with their premature talent. Yet, while Tendulkar has carved an unrivaled heritage for 24 years, SuryavANSHi is only at the beginning of his journey. Waugh acknowledged the promise of a young Indian, but stressed that the real test lies ahead of us – in the way he manages expectations and maintains his brilliance over time.
