After the match, his Rajasthan Royals teammate Dhruv Jurel revealed the fearless batting mantra behind the 15-year-old sensation’s incredible success.Rajasthan Royals crushed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs in a high-scoring Eliminator encounter at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in Mullanpur, moving a step closer to a second IPL title. Sooryavanshi was once again the star of the show for RR. The teenage opener tore apart SRH’s bowling attack with a stunning innings of 12 sixes and five fours that helped Rajasthan post a massive 243/8 in the knockout clash.Dhruv Jurel, who also contributed a quickfire half-century, praised Sooryavanshi’s fearless approach and revealed that the youngster never doubts when he goes into bat.“The best thing about Vaibhav is that he doesn’t plan too much because he practices a lot and always relies on himself. Every time he goes to bat, he believes in his abilities. He never has a shadow of a doubt that he can’t do it,” Jurel said at the post-match press conference. Explaining what makes the teenager so special, Jurel said that Sooryavanshi’s focus is only on the ball and not on his reputation as a bowler.“When you start cricket, coaches tell you to watch the ball, not the bowler. But as youngsters, we always end up watching the bowler. Vaibhav just watches the ball, that’s his mantra. He doesn’t care about any bowler. He just wants to play the ball. That’s all,” Jurel added.Defending 244, Rajasthan Royals then dominated with the ball as well. Sunrisers Hyderabad slumped to 57/4 during the over, despite a brief counter-attack from Ishan Kishan, who scored 33 off just 11 balls.
