Suryansh Shedge and Prince Yadav (X-BCCI) India captain Shreyas Iyer opted to start after winning the toss in the second T20I against Ireland on Sunday, making two changes to the playing XI as the visitors look to level the two-match series.India handed T20I debuts to batting all-rounder Suryansh Shedge and fast bowler Prince Yadav, while teenage batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again awaited his first international appearance.Iyer confirmed the changes in the face-off, expressed confidence in the two rookies and praised their abilities.“We have two changes. Suryansh (Shedge) and Prince are coming in and making their debuts. Shedge is a sensational cricketer, both in domestic cricket and in the IPL,” Iyer said, adding that Prince is a “smart” cricketer who will “adapt to things”.India entered the contest under pressure after suffering a shock 34-run defeat in the series opener on Friday. The loss gave Ireland their first ever win over the reigning T20 World Champions in any format and gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.Their inclusion made Suryansh Shedge and Prince Yadav the 120th and 121st Indian players to represent the country in T20 Internationals.
