Vaibhav Sooryavanshi bowled Sachin to become the youngest to reach an international fifty

Indian teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has entered the record books by becoming the youngest player from a full member nation to score an international fifty. The 15-year-old reached the milestone during India’s T20I against Zimbabwe when he surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s age of 16 years and 213 days when he made 59 against Pakistan in the 1989 Test.

Overall, Sooryavanshi is also the youngest player in history to register an international fifty, ahead of several cricketers from associated countries. The latest feat adds another milestone to the youngster’s remarkable start to his international career.
