Owners of pets must hurry because there are up to 17,000 doses of vaccines against rabbins ready to serve dogs in the PET area in the district of Kadapa.
District Collector Sridhar Cherkuri on Sunday (July 6, 2025) launched the Anti-Rabies vaccination unit on the occasion of the “World Zoonosis Day” on the veterinary polyclinic in Kadap on Sunday (July 6, 2025).
He also called animal activists to help spread the message so that the doses during the free vaccination drive cause productive use.

He remembered the origin of the day when the first vaccine was filed on July 6, 1885 Louis Pasteur Boys attempted by a rabid dog, invited pet owners to recognize their family members, with regard to their proximity to pet animals.
Mr. Sridhar also called on veterinarians who also remain in the middle of animals to be compulsory to vaccinate regularly to avoid risks. The collector described “Fodder Week” observed from 7 to 14 July and formally issued a poster that the Ministry of Animals issued.
