
People for animals (PFA), Mysuru, in conjunction with animal addressing, launched 28 September weekly vaccination drive for maring world rabies.
The anti-ray vaccination unit started on 23 September, aimed at creating greater awareness of the prevention of rabies and the importance of vaccination animals.
The day also commemorates Louise Pasteur, a French scientist who has developed the first rabies vaccine, and according to PFA is supported by world -class medical organization and a global alliance for rabies control.
