V. Somanna to hold a meeting on railway projects at Shivamogga

Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V. Somanna will visit Shivamogga on Monday to review railway projects along with Lok Sabha member BY Raghavendra and senior officials of South Western Railway.

According to a communication from the South Western Railway, the inspection meeting will be held at the circuit house in the city. The minister will later inspect the road under-bridge (RUB) work at Birur.

The meeting is expected to discuss the proposed Shivamogga-Shikaripur-Ranebennur railway line, the demand for upgradation of Bhadravathi railway station and the construction of a bus depot at Kotegangur.
