A 20-year-old youth was found hanging from a bridge wearing a helmet in Satpuli in Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district on Saturday (May 2, 2026). Before his alleged suicide, the victim posted a video on social media accusing local police of harassment after they seized his motorcycle.
The police identified the deceased as Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Retpur village and informed his family. The incident came to light after a local resident alerted the authorities through a 911 call. Officials learned the man had made a video before the incident alleging police abuse.
