Young people should play a significant role in achieving the ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ goals set by the Union government, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Chairman SN Sabat said. He advised them to use technology wisely to achieve their personal goals while contributing to the development of the nation.
He attended the fifth convocation of Centurion University of Technology and Management along with ICICI Prudential-AMC Chief Investment Officer Sankar Naren in Vizianagaram on Saturday (December 13, 2025). Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sabat said that youth who do courses in line with industry needs achieve success, but those who also take courses in artificial intelligence and other technological advancements get more opportunities.
Mr. Sankar Naren said that courses related to finance and others would ensure a bright future due to the progress of the Indian economy in the last few decades.
University Chancellor GSN Raju and Vice-Chancellor Prasant Kumar Mohanty felicitated and conferred honorary doctorates on both the guests on the occasion. University founder Mukti Kanta Mishra and university vice-chancellor DN Rao said the university has introduced new courses such as aviation, drone technology, forensic science and others to provide students with a broader learning experience.
University Registrar P. Pallavi gave a presentation on the achievements of students in various disciplines. The university leaders and guests had earlier presented gold medals and cash prizes to 14 deserving students. As many as 409 students were presented with a certificate of education in the program.
Bapuji Rural Enlightenment and Development Society CEO A. Ramakrishna Raju congratulated the university management for offering new courses like genetics, agronomy, soil science and plant breeding to help rural students get decent jobs in top seed companies, agricultural research organizations and others.
