
USA announces squad for 2026 FIFA World Cup T20 Washington: Monank Patel will lead Team USA for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, with 10 key players from the team’s debut campaign in 2024 also part of the squad. This will be the USA’s second appearance at the T20 World Cup, earning direct qualification on the back of an impressive finish to the Super 8 stage in 2024, which included a victory over Pakistan.
