The US released advice to its citizens to India and urged “increased caution” for crime and rape and advised them not to travel to certain parts of the central and eastern parts of the country for terrorism.
Travel counseling issued last week states that “rape is one of the fastest growing crimes in India” and violent crimes, including sexual assault, take place in tourist places and other places.
He added that terrorists who focus on tourist places, transport centers, markets/shopping centers and government facilities can attack with small or no warning.
Advice on 16 June also adds that the US government has a limited ability to provide emergency services to its citizens in rural areas that stretch from the Eastern Maharahtra and North Telangana through Western West Bengal.
Counseling also tells us not to travel to parts of Central and East India “for terrorism”.
“Maoist extremist groups or” Naxalits “are active in the Great Area of India, which is from the eastern Maharashtra and Northern Telangana through Western Bengal,” he said.
Attacks against Indian government officers continue to appear in the rural parts of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, which borders with Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharaštra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha. The Southwest Region of Odisha is also affected.
